Ronald R Moreland, 88, of Lisbon, Iowa passed into the presence of our Lord on September 21, 2025.
Ron was born on June 14, 1937, to Donald and Harriet (Fall) Moreland in Olin, Iowa. On April 25, 1959, Ron married the love of his life, Sandi Reynolds. To this union a son, Tony, was born.
In earlier years, Ron drove a milk truck and a cement truck. He retired from the Tipton Schools after twenty-four years of service. Ron and Sandi enjoyed church, their cabin at Ivanhoe, reading, putting puzzles together, antiquing, and garage sales.
Those lift to cherish his memory are Tony (Karla) Moreland; three grandchildren, Andy (Holly) Moreland, Larissa (Christian) Libby, and Mackenzie Moreland; and a great-grandson, Oden Moreland. He is also survived by a sister, Nancy Marlette; nephew, Jeff Hollingsworth; and niece, Sheila (Todd) Rouse.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; infant son; parents; sister, Dixie Hollingsworth; and brothers-in-law, Tuffy Hollingsworth and Ron Marlette.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Camp Courageous, Monticello, Iowa.
The family would like to thank Hallmark Care Center and Suncrest Hospice for their loving care.
A joint visitation for Ron and Sandi will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on October 2, 2025, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa.
