Michelle Lynn Stephen, 58, of Tahlequah, OK, daughter of Linda (Bob) Welsch and Roger (Sandy) Stephen, left this world on August 25, 2025 due to a tragic fire at their home. She was a proud graduate of Monticello High School in 1985, after which she pursued her passion for understanding the human mind by earning a degree in psychology from Loras College.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her brother Brad Stephen, and her stepmother Sandy Stephen. She is survived by her parents, her husband Cole, her two sons Tanner and Jobe Ellison, and her 2 grandsons with a third grandchild on the way.
There will be a celebration honoring her life taking place Saturday, September 27 from 3-7 p.m. at 355 Bradley Drive, Monticello, IA. Please feel free to join and share all the wonderful memories Michelle has blessed us with through her career and hobbies over the years.
