Joan “Becky” Kehoe, 78, died Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Cascade Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 Friday morning, September 26, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monticello. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Castle Grove. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Goettsch Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband Ronald, 3 children, Lori Ann (Kevin) Hach, Brian (Angie) Kehoe, Lisa (Matt) Nelson, 3 grandchildren, Conner, Keaton, Michael. She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Lois.
Joan Rebecca Muller was born in Waterloo, Iowa on April 18, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Adeline Sobotta Muller. She graduated from the Cedar Falls High School in 1965. She went to work at Iowa National Mutual Insurance Company in Cedar Rapids. Becky married Ronald Kehoe June 26, 1971, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls. The couple farmed in Castle Grove Township. In later years Becky did gift wrapping at Von Maur in Cedar Rapids.
Beck volunteered at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Senior Dining in Monticello, the Immaculate Conception Rosary Guild cleaning the church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and baking. Becky often took vegetables, flowers and baked goods to enter at the Jones County Fair. Becky enjoyed family vacations to the Cubs Games and going on Caribbean Cruises. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and shopping.
The family would like to thank Above and Beyond Hospice for all their wonderful care.
