RaeJean Alice Fee, 88, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Hiawatha Care Center. The family will greet friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
RaeJean was born on February 24, 1937, in Ladora, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Laura (Radeke) Cronbaugh. She was a graduate of Marengo High School. On June 7, 1959, RaeJean was united in marriage to Donald R. Fee at St. James United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. Together, they had two daughters. RaeJean worked various positions with Collins Radio and Linn County Abstract, before raising her family. She was a member of the Marion Methodist Church and the Women’s Circle. She also enjoyed card club. After Don’s retirement, they spent many happy days traveling together all over the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and Europe. RaeJean will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
RaeJean is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Donald Fee; two daughters, Cynthia Nielsen of Marion, and Connie (Jeff) Johnson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren, Britt (Jake) Nielsen Parker, Ben (Sara) Nielsen, Nicholas (Tia) Johnson, and Hannah (Zack) Lenz; and six great-grandchildren, Jack, Layla, Rhett, Elijah, Bodie, and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dwayne Cronbaugh; and sister, Marlys Eirp.
