Debra Diane Stephenson, 69, of Robins, Iowa, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 3275 N. Center Point Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church, with Pastor Chris Navurskis officiating. Burial will take place at Center Point Cemetery in Center Point, Iowa.
Deb was born on February 22, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, to Benjamin and Ruth (Goetz) Pecinovsky. She graduated from North Linn High School with the Class of 1974 and, that same year, began her career with Rockwell Collins. Over the years, Deb dedicated a total of 31 years to the company before retiring in 2018.
On January 1, 2011, Deb was united in marriage to August Alvin Stephenson at the Harnish Wedding Chapel in Cedar Rapids. She was a devoted member of King of Kings Lutheran Church and active in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). Above all, Deb cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her newest great-grandchild.
Survivors include her husband, August Stephenson of Robins; children, Melissa Lindsey of Marion, Iowa, Sandra (Nick) Brown of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Jacob (Kelly) Lindsey of Seattle, Washington; stepchildren, Wendy Stephenson and Kristi Stephenson, both of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Madison, Avery, Colton, and Wyatt; great-grandchild, Malakai; and siblings, Susan (Kenny) Popelar, Robert (Marj) Pecinovsky, Mary (Bob) Wigfall, Dean Pecinovsky, Barb (Marc) Clark, and John (Jeannie) Pecinovsky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Pecinovsky.
