The mural took Sadya 130 hours to complete. The nonprofit Murals & More works to identify locations to display public art projects as well as secure funding for artists to ensure they’re appropriately compensated for the value of their work. Sadya, the co-founder of 237 Collective, attention to detail included using the number of a city bus that is currently in service when GTC workers told them that the number of the bus in a reference photograph was taken out of service.
