CORALVILLE — A sandwich franchise continues to grow in the Corridor nearly 5 years after it was first introduced.
Jersey Mike’s Subs, the shop known for its fresh-sliced and grilled subs, will open a new location at 570 First Ave. in Coralville on Sept. 10.
Franchise owners Aaron and Camilla Lees will hold their grand opening from Sept. 10 to Sept. 14 in conjunction with a fundraiser supporting West High School. Customers who receive a fundraising coupon distributed locally can get a regular sub in exchange for a $3 contribution to the school.
The location is the chain’s second shop in Coralville and sixth overall in Linn and Johnson counties. Jersey Mike’s Subs has over 4,000 locations open or in development.
