Ken and Vicki Slaughter will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on August 9, 2010. The couple were college sweethearts, having met at NE Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO, and were united in marriage on August 9, 1975, at Central Park Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. They have three children: a son, Kyle and wife Betsy, and daughters, Amanda Slaughter, and Lauren Carpenter and husband Ty, all of Denver, CO.
They will celebrate with a dinner at a later date with their family somewhere in beautiful Colorado.
