Helen Maxine Childers, 92, of Central City, Iowa, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Meth-Wick Community in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. A Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Gospel Light Baptist Church, located at 305 2nd Avenue, in Marion, with an additional visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Mt. Clark Cemetery in Central City, Iowa.
Helen is survived by her husband Donivan; daughters, Dottie Moxom, Colleen Childers, and Mary Lou (Rob) Cornoyer; son, James (Sandra) Childers; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
