Government, ‘crash and burn’ style

How many times have you heard that phrase or been hurt by it? We are living in that very moment. We are used to having confidence in our government.
“Crash and Burn” is removing the very essence of confidence. Massive financial and employee cuts affect the likes of the Iowa Writers Workshop, Social Security, the State Department, the IRS ... and the list seems endless. We should not take what’s happening lightly. In many ways, we feel defenseless and helpless, but in fact, we are the real strength that can pull it back together.
