INDEPENDENCE 45, WASHINGTON 7 — Christopher Meyer rushed passed for 242 yards an a pair of touchdowns as the Mustangs rolled at home.
He completed 21 of 32 passes and also rushed 11 times for 110 yards and another TD. Zeke Symonds caught 8 passes for 121 yards and a TD.
Demons QB Kael Williams completed 9 of 19 passes for 134 yards and a TD.
BECKMAN 44, MONTICELLO 7 — Up 20-0 at halftime, the Blazers had a 24-point third quarter put the final touches on this one.
Mack Wolfe led a 169-yard rushing attack with 19 carries for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Brady Gogel was 5-for-11 through the air for 96 yards and a TD.
Monticello tallied 79 passing yards and 30 yards on the ground.

WEST DELAWARE 41, NORTH FAYETTE VALLEY 6 — Jack Cantwell rushed just five times, but totaled 160 yards and three touchdowns for the Hawks.
He scored on runs of 86, 56 and 8 yards and also caught a 44-yard TD pass from Austin Schnieders.
Schnieders completed 9 of 16 passes for 157 yards.

DECORAH 49, CRESTWOOD 6 — The Vikings scored three times in the first quarter and never looked back.
Quarterback Tanner Caddell completed 9 of 11 passes for 102 yards, hitting tight end Noah Milburn for a 14-yard touchdown on the opening possession of the game. Trevor Kuennen rushed for 105 yards, scoring on 39-yard run.

ENGLISH VALLEYS 52, HLV-TC 32 — From an 1-8 season last year to a 2-0 now, the Bears used a big first half from Drew Fisher to pull away.
Fisher had six touchdowns, throwing for four and running for two.

DUBUQUE WAHLERT 41, ANAMOSA 0 — The Golden Eagles blew the game open over the final two quarters with quarterback JP Elbert scoring two touchdowns on runs of 16 and 5 yards before Brody Schumacher and Ben Francis added fourth quarter scoring scampers for the visitors.
Anamosa trailed just 14-0 at halftime.
Anamosa was held to 123 total yards of offense. Hudson Scranton rushed 15 times for a team-best 32 yards while Reilly Shaw had 31 rushing yards.
