Wahl - Rupp

Jennifer Nyla Wahl of Nevada, IA and Jason Michael Rupp of Cedar Rapids were united in marriage on May 22, 2010, in Cedar Rapids. Father Donald Klein performed the 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Pius X Catholic Church. A reception followed at the Cedar Rapids Marriott Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Joan Wahl of Nevada. The bridegroom is the son of Myron and Gwen Rupp of Cedar Rapids. Matron of Honor was Jenn Lamb. Bridesmaids were Lisa Schimberg and Katy Wahl. Best Man was Brian Rupp. Groomsmen were Kevin Evers and Matt Houghkirk. Ushers were Charlie Schimberg and Scott Beason. Rehearsal dinner was hosted by Myron and Gwen Rupp at Cibo's restaurant.

The bride graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Master's degree in Environmental Science. The bridegroom graduated from Iowa State University, and is a Software Engineer at 2nd Story Software in Cedar Rapids. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
