Before I came to know the LORD, my personality was mostly negative. I was paranoid, anxious, fearful, impatient, insecure, jealous, judgmental and unforgiving. I was selfish, cussed like a sailor and drank to fit in, justifying sinful behavior. Deep down, I knew these things were wrong but struggled to change.
Depressed, I began to seek God (Proverbs 8:17). On May 30, 2021, I was softened, as if God re-started my heart (Ezekiel 36:26). Jesus taught me to be kind, caring and compassionate, even to my enemies. Writing these letters is one of several ways I choose to serve the LORD because it’s an honor to do so. As a disciple of Christ, my mission is to live for Him (Galatians 2:20).
This is a small excerpt of my testimony. Jesus is the word of God (John 1:1). I know that Jesus is the ONLY way (John 14:6) to spend eternity with God in Heaven. By God’s grace, I have learned about Him by studying and reading scripture.
If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your LORD and Savior and this letter was a conviction to your heart, say this prayer: God, I know I am a sinner. I want to change. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me so I can spend eternity with you. My life is yours LORD, show me the way to go from here forward. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
If you prayed that prayer from your heart, the angels are rejoicing (Luke 15:10)!
