Iowa City Police investigating shots fired

The Iowa City Police Department has asked for the public’s help investigating a shots fired incident that happened Thursday night in the area of Deforest Avenue and Sycamore Street.
Police were called to the area at 8:56 p.m., and found evidence of gunfire. No injuries have been reported.
Anyone with information about the incident, or video footage from around the time it took place, is asked to contact Detective Alec Fjelstul at AFjelstul@iowa-city.org.
