Sharon Maas and Charles Newbold Sr. of Williamsburg, were united in marriage on December 21, 2009, at Veterans Chapel in Iowa City. Sharon is the daughter of Gerald and Darlene Maas of Cedar Rapids. Best man was Charles Newbold II, son of the groom. Groomsman was Diedrich Maas, son of the bride. Maid of honor was Marilyn Maas. Bridesmaid was Linda Thompson. Granddaughter, Madeleine Maas, flower girl, and grandson, Braedyn Newbold, ring bearer, were pulled in a wagon by Gracey Williams. Soloist, Renee Maas, was accompanied by organist, Darlene Maas.
