Iowa filling out nonconference men’s basketball schedule with two Westerns and a Lowell
Hawkeyes still have openings in Ben McCollum’s first schedule as Iowa’s coach

Iowa has recently added three nonconference home games to its 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule in Ben McCollum’s first season as the Hawkeyes’ coach.
Western Illinois will come to Carver-Hawkeye Arena Nov. 7. Western Michigan will play at Iowa on Dec. 14, and UMass Lowell will do likewise on Dec. 29.
The UMass Lowell River Hawks were 17-15 last season. Western Michigan was 12-20, Western Illinois 12-19.
Two nonconference games have yet to be announced.

Nov. 7 -- Western Illinois
Nov. 14 — Xavier
Nov. 25-26 — Acrisure Classic (Mississippi, and Grand Canyon or Utah), Palm Springs, Calif.
Dec. 11 — at Iowa State
Dec. 14 -- Western Michigan
Dec. 20 — Bucknell (in Des Moines)
Dec. 29 -- UMass Lowell
