Shocked at quick change to U.S.

I must confess, not in my wildest imagination would I have believed that when the Trump Nova of Stars (House, Senate, Supreme Court, governors, Cabinet, heads of departments, bizarre unelected advisers) perfectly aligned that this country’s proud system of justice for all, health care, education, free trade, habeas corpus, free speech could be bulldozed in less than eight months … eight months.
Thousands of career civil servants fired, thousands of impossible to replace agricultural workers deported, true insanity in charge of our national medical future, Christian Nationalism invading our classrooms, museums, and libraries … inflation coming … inflation yet to be really rocked by tariffs that have barely scratched price tags.
I suppose if your white, fat salary, seven-figure 401(k) big mommy and daddy inheritance, this all seems pretty distant from your day to day. But you better hope you claw and scratch into the top 10% or your life will change.
