Where is Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks? Hiding somewhere so she doesn't have to hear the real opinions of the constituents she's trusted with representing.
Her newsletter brags about the support she’s receiving for having voted to gut Eastern Iowa’s medical care and cultural/educational programs. She tells us how wonderful it is that the tax bills she supported sweeps massive piles of money to the rich while dropping crumbs here and there to the common people to fool them into thinking they're getting real gift, and how happy people are that she's helped add another several trillion to the national debt. She tells us how proud she is to give unquestioning support to the present administration that is openly corrupt, vindictive and wildly incompetent, and how to be happy with her as she prances from visits with small, handpicked collections of special-interest and young, uninformed people back Washington to cast votes that cripple services for Iowans.
Where is Miller-Meeks? In la-la-land! Hiding from real people, avoiding conversations, meetings and town halls. She doesn’t want to hear real voices of real people. She wants to keep collecting her $174,000 salary while pandering to her rich donors. She wants to keep her brain stuffed in a sparkling bubble where other mindless fairies dance to the tune of blind irresponsibility. We, the people, have an America to preserve and Iowa to promote. She doesn't care about that.
Where will Miller-Meeks be in two years? Average Iowans can only pray she’ll be gone!
