Lavern and Dorothy Nagel of Monticello, IA celebrated their 60th anniversary on October 21st with a family dinner. The former Dorothy Jacobs and Lavern Nagel were married in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They have three children, Linda (Ron) Kahler, Steve (Julie) Nagel, and Gary (Kathy) Nagel of Monticello; grandchildren, Tara (Chris) Turnbaugh, Nick (Mackenzie) Kahler, Jeff Nagel, Kendi (Mitch) Nagel, and Jaycie Nagel; and two greatgrandchildren, Gavin and Anicka Kahler.
