Milton R. “Butch” Postel, 82, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, with a prayer service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Old St. Joseph Church located at 995 5th Avenue in Marion. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Hazel Knoll Cemetery near Viola, Iowa, with full military honors.
