James (Jim) Roy Whittaker was a long-time resident of Marion, IA. Jim was a test technician at Rockwell Collins until his retirement. His personal faith was an important part of his life. He also spent years working and eventually managing the Marion Food Bank. Jim was always available to assist a friend or neighbor when called upon. Jim passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, following a two-year battle after a debilitating stroke.
There will be no services. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
