CEDAR RAPIDS — A signature event for The District has returned after a brief hiatus.
Tickets are now available for Dinner on the Bridge, the annual fundraiser for The District: Czech Village & New Bohemia, a self-supported municipal improvement district encompassing its two namesake neighborhoods.
Tickets for attendees 21 and older can be purchased online. Each ticket, $100, includes an entrée, appetizers, dessert and two drink tickets. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,000.
The next dinner is set for Thursday, Sept. 11 on the 16th Avenue Bridge of Lions linking the Czech Village and New Bohemia. The event features food and beverage vendors from the area with appetizer stations and a candlelit dinner provided by Crosby’s, Cafe Tacuba, The Full Bowl and Up in Smoke.
“We are excited to once again gather with our community for this unique dinner,” said Jennifer Borcherding, executive director of The District. “This event will highlight many of our wonderful vendors in The District, and be a celebration of our community and Cedar Rapids.”
