Gilbert Lopata and the former Magdalen Summer were married on October 15, 1960, at IC Church in Cedar Rapids. A 50th wedding anniversary celebration was held at the Amana Colonies Golf Clubhouse. Their children are, John (Patti) Lopata of Amana, Diana Lopata of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Jeff (Thereasa) Lopata of Ely, and Jamie (Jennifer) Lopata of Troy Mills. Their grandchildren are, Sara, Justin, Keilly, Emma, Maddy, Austin, Dakota, and Hunter.
Gilbert and Maggie would like to thank the many family and friends who helped them celebrate this special occasion.
