Cedar Rapids man wins $500K playing Iowa Lottery

Joseph Robson of Cedar Rapids has won $500,000 from the Iowa Lottery, the lottery announced Wednesday.
Robson won a top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “Mega Bucks” scratch game. According to the Iowa Lottery, Robson purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s at 65 Williams Blvd. in Fairfax.
Robson claimed his price Tuesday at the Iowa Lottery’s main office in Clive.
Mega Bucks is a $50 scratch game that features 13 top prizes of $500,000 and 12 prizes of $25,000. Robson is the seventh top prize winner, according to the Lottery.
