Linn County Sheriff: Investigation into suspicious deaths concluded
April deaths in Springville ruled suicide

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office has determined the deaths of two people in April at a mobile home park in Springville were both suicides.
Brett Rickard and Genera Humert, both 48, of Springville, were found dead during a welfare check at 2600 Carlton Lane on April 30 at about 12:40 p.m., according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office issued another release, announcing that the investigation into the deaths was concluded and both were ruled to be suicides.
