The streaming service Hulu will be airing a three-part series this month on the 1995 disappearance of Mason City news anchor Jodi Huisentruit.
The episodes of "Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit" are scheduled to drop July 15 and will include interviews with Iowa officials and Iowans who knew Huisentruit, including Amy Johnson of Cedar Rapids, a former KGAN-TV news anchor who worked with Huisentruit when the young woman started her broadcast career in Cedar Rapids.
The series is produced by Committee Films and ABC News Studios for Hulu.
Committee Films said in a news release the docuseries embedded with law enforcement and follows “along as the lead detective chases the truth, resulting in the identification of new persons of interest in Jodi’s disappearance. … We hope that the program helps advance the case.”
