Stephen and Gail Sladek of Cedar Rapids announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Sladek, to Bradley Lancy, son of Robert and Barbara Lancy of Tinley Park, IL.

Ms. Sladek, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, received her Masters at the Chicago College of Performing Arts and works as a non-profit professional with Girls on the Run - Chicago. Mr. Lancy, also a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, is a CPA working in Advisory with KPMG in Chicago.

An April wedding is planned in Chicago.
