Bob and Shirley (VanEvery) Vermace are celebrating their 50th anniversary.
The couple were married on July 8, 1961 at the First Methodist Church in Mason City, IA.
They have three children, Mike (Shirley) Vermace of Decorah, IA, and Julie (Chris) Montgomery, and Tim Vermace, all of Cedar Rapids. They also have six grandchildren, Charlie, Eddie, and Ruthie Vermace, and Ben (Jennie), Luke, and Hannah Montgomery.
They will be celebrating with a family dinner in August.
