In response to the June 20 letter from a “Proud Army Veteran” concerning the alleged “cluelessness” on the part of the millions of people who participated in the recent “No Kings” protests all across the U. S.; let me just say that my ancestors who were members of General Washington's Army (the very Army that was being celebrated) did not die in the Revolutionary War so they could place a crown on a draft dodger 250 years later.
If by “clueless,” the letter writer meant those of us who have read, understand and taken an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States; against ALL enemies foreign and domestic; then yes, we are clueless patriots.
