Lawrence A. “Larry” Meister, age 89, longtime Solon Schools Administrator, died Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with burial to follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Solon. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the services beginning at 11 am at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Larry’s honor to the Solon Food Bank or the Solon Library, both were important to Larry as was Solon and its many good people!
