Edward Stoll, 74, of Cascade, Iowa, passed away on June 19, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on July 4, 1950, he was a dedicated husband, father, and community member. Ed married Margaret Turnis in 1973, and together they farmed in the Fillmore area. He also served as a correctional officer at Anamosa State Penitentiary for 15 years.
Ed was known for his humor, strong faith, and love for family. He enjoyed playing cards, football, and working outdoors. He actively participated in coaching, church life, and Pheasants Forever. He is survived by his wife Margie, three children, seven grandchildren, and many siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Becky, two brothers, a nephew, and his parents.
A visitation will be held on July 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fillmore, followed by a funeral service at noon. A private burial will take place later.
