Linn County Fair brings family-friendly entertainment, country music to Central City

The Linn County Fair is bringing a packed schedule of family-friendly entertainment to Central City this week. The fair runs from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29.
Beyond the daytime highlights of viewing 4-H events, tasting creations from food vendors and testing your luck at the carnival, the grandstand lineup includes nighttime thrills.
The East Central Iowa Pullers Association’s Truck and Tractor Pull on Thursday, June 26 will show off the strength of trucks and tractors from across the Midwest. The pull kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
Country artists Chris Cagle and Dylan Scott will take the stage on June 27 and 28 respectively. Fireworks will follow both concerts starting at 10 p.m.
Roaring engines will return on June 29 for the Tough Truck Races. The event starts at 5 p.m.
