Diane Harden passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 in her home.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Smith Funeral Home in Victor from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the family present from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Diane was born in 1956 to Delmar and Maxine Scott in Grinnell, IA. She attended HLV Community School and worked at Amana Refrigeration for many years. After stepping away from the factory, she subbed as a secretary and associate at HLV as well as helped out at Harden Bros. Propane and M&N Grain.
Diane is survived by her daughter Jennifer Thys of Victor and son Andy Johnson of Ankeny; four grandchildren, Andrew, Megan, Amy Thys and Abby Johnson; her sister Marilyn Read of Indianola, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Harden, her parents, her stepfather Merle Craig, and sisters Jane Craig and Patricia Nicholas.
