CEDAR RAPIDS - Kelly Katherine Scott and Chad Jeremy Whipple, both of Cedar Rapids, announce their engagement.

Kelly is the daughter of Larry and Barb Scott, both of Cedar Rapids. Chad is the son of Wade and Debbie Whipple of Wentzville, MO.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on December 12, 2009, during a 4 p.m. ceremony at Faith Lutheran Church in Marion, IA.
