Uptown Marion Market returns this week

MARION — The Uptown Marion Market will return this weekend with more than 40 local vendors and entertainment options.

The first market of the 2025 season will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in City Square Park in Uptown Marion. Market vendors will have everything from fresh produce to baked goods and handcrafted artisan items.

Visitors also can enjoy a full lineup of family fun throughout the morning to include face painting, balloon art and live music starting at 9 a.m. Kids also can visit the hands-on Power of Produce booth to learn about the homegrown food scene.

The once-a-month market will continue throughout the summer and early fall from 8 a.m. to noon on July 12, Aug. 9 and Sept. 27. For a full vendor list and map, visit bit.ly/UptownMarket25.

The Uptown Marion Market is presented by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and Uptown Marion Main Street with additional support from the city of Marion’s Hotel/Motel Grant Program.
