Donna Smith, 86, of Brooklyn, died on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Brooklyn Community Estates.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the church.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Smith Funeral Home in Brooklyn and her family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Memorials may be designated to the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church or to the Brooklyn Public Library and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 342, Brooklyn, IA 52211. Memories and condolences may be shared with Donna’s family online at www.smithfh.com.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Diane (Todd) VanErsvelde of North Liberty, IA; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
