Timothy Paul Simmons, 58, of Des Moines, passed away peacefully in his home on May 29, 2025.
A visitation will take place at Iles Westover Chapel on Thursday, June 5, from 6-8 pm, with an 8 pm Time of Sharing and Vigil service. A funeral mass will at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, June 6, at 11am. Tim is survived by his wife Mary, son Joe, daughter Grace, brothers Mac, Tony, Nick, Chris, Joe, and Andy, and sister Kelly.
Tim’s family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Mercy ONE Deming Cancer Center, Mission Cancer and Blood, On With Life, Infinity Home Care, and Suncrest Hospice.
A special thank you is extended to Tammy Wondelich for additional contributions to Tim’s care during his final months of life.
