Daniel and Virginia Mitchell celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with family and friends at a party held in their honor on Saturday, August 28. Daniel and the former Virginia Roettger were married August 27, 1960, in Arnold, MO. Hosting the event were their daughters, Sharon and her husband Jon Konchar of Cedar Rapids, and Suzanne and her husband Rick Kubler of Eden Prairie, MN. They have six grandchildren: Kristin (Konchar) Boeser, Jessica (Konchar) Baack, A.J. Konchar, and Ryan, Tyler and Kaelyn Kubler.
