Margaret Kathryn “Peggy” Peiffer, 59 of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025. She died unexpectedly but peacefully in her home with her fur baby LuLu by her side.
Peggy was born on Sept. 15, 1965, to Donald M and Patsy (O’Rourke) Peiffer in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Regis High School in 1983. Peggy was a wrestling cheerleader during high school. She attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Over the years she worked for Amana Appliances, Pearsons, Transamerica and recently retired from Tata Consultancy Services.
She is survived by brothers, Mark (Elaine) Peiffer, Mike (Diana) Peiffer, BFF Melinda Murphy, nieces and nephews Bart, Peggy, Nick, Ben and Michael, and fur baby LuLu.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Patsy Peiffer, nephew Josh Peiffer and fur babies, Rusty, Bucky and Bo.
Peggy was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan despite her deep and rich Green Bay Packers upbringing. She enjoyed time with friends, shopping antiques, cooking, traveling and good music. She was a dedicated Little Feat fan, a passion she shared with her brothers. But most of all she loved and enjoyed her dogs.
Celebration of Life at Cedar Memorial Family Center on May 31, 2025 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. with an open house and light luncheon.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will go to Fur Fun Rescue.
