Agnes Louise “Lou” Baier (Madison), of Coralville, died at home on May 9, 2025, after a long illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm on Friday, May 16 at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church, 228 East Jefferson Street, Iowa City. Family will greet guests from 1– 2 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Coralville. A luncheon will take place immediately after the burial at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Coralville, IA to its Growing MORE in Faith Campaign (GMIF Campaign) construction project.
Preceding her in death were her son, Kevin and all her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Leo; children Tim of Aiea, HI, Ann (Paul Mulholland) of Windsor Heights, IA, Dan of Cedar Rapids, IA; adopted sister, Cathy Williams of Boone, IA; daughter-in-law Cathie Baier; grandchildren Nate, Julia, Brigid, Liam, Ambrose and Ellie Baier all of Bloomington, MN; several nieces and nephews, and best friend, Meg Barron.
