Saturday May 3, 2025 was the 151st KY Derby at Churchill Downs race track in Louisville, KY. Steve Buttleman of Louisville was the "Bugler" his 30th year! He is also the "Bugler" at Keeneland horse track in Lexington, KY. Steve plays the "call to the past" before each horserace. Steve graduated from Washington HS in Cedar Rapids in 1983. Steve and his wife (Rhonda) have 2 children - Megan (Eric) Coriell and Tyler (Katharine) Buttleman. They have 4 grandchildren. We are SO PROUD of you!
