Jane M. Conroy, 65, passed away on November 24, 2024, at home in Columbia, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 24, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City. A livestream will be made available for remote visiting.
Jane was born on March 28, 1959 in Elgin, Illinois to Michael & Joanne Conroy. The 2nd of 5 children, Jane was an extraordinarily delightful and charismatic polymath with an inviting sense of humor. Her intellect was like a laser in its ability to focus on a problem and quickly cut to its heart. These gifts were reflected in her artistic ability, her success in professional life and in her sense of style. She was warm, thoughtful and generous. Jane is missing from our present, but her life will not soon be forgotten or diminished in charm and value going forward.
Jane is survived by her devoted partner of many years, Gary Oliveri; her siblings Michael, Patrick, Annie and Barney; nieces Jessica, JoEllen, Emma, Lucy, Clara & Alice, and nephew Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her ex-husband Frederick Jones.
