Tom Krejci, of Cedar Rapids, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 3, surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue; children Jessica (Jason) Poscovsky and Mike (Martha) Krejci; grandchildren John Paul Strawman and Norah Krejci; and brothers James and William (Eleanor) Krejci. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Woodward.
Tom was the first stage manager of the Five Seasons Center, longtime Business Agent for IATSE, and a 2004 inductee into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with the Linn County Band. He supported generations of musicians through sound equipment, stories, and steadfast friendship. Whether behind the scenes or behind the wheel of a tour bus, he was always where people needed him most.
