A car collided Monday afternoon with a Linn-Mar Community School District bus, but the bus driver and passengers were uninjured, Marion police said.
Kellee Drewelow, of Marion, failed to stop at a sign at the intersection of 44th Street and 29th Avenue about 2:50 p.m. Monday. Her car, a red 2020 Kia Sorento, was hit in the intersection by the school bus, which had the right of way.
The bus driver and passengers were uninjured. Drewelow was treated on the scene by first responders for non-life threatening injuries, a police news release states.
Drewelow was cited for failure to obey traffic device, police said.
