Linn County deputies find 2 adults dead near Springville
Deputies were called out to conduct welfare check in mobile home park

Two adults were found dead Wednesday in a mobile home outside of Springville when Linn County deputies conducted a welfare check, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The office was called about 12:40 p.m. to check on an individual who had not reported or called in to work. Deputies responded to 2600 Carlton Lane No. 6 and found that a man and a woman were both dead, according to a news release.
Both bodies were transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of deaths. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths, but said in its release there does not appear to be any threat to the public.
The identities of the deceased have not been released.
