Dan Boubin, 52, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. No services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
Dan was born on May 16, 1972, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Donald and Betty (Hockenbury) Boubin. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1990. He worked at Climate Engineers for many years. Dan was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Dan was always a giver to anyone in need; evident through his gift of life through the Iowa Donor Network. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his siblings, Michele Mitchell of Birmingham, Iowa, Lisa Dlouhy of Cedar Rapids, Amy (Mark) Cassel of Manchester, Iowa, and Renee Boubin of Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Emily, Jake, Carl, Lyle, and Henry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
