Stacey Boston, 56, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Stacey was born May 19, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of William and Beverly (Dauber) Chiafos. She graduated from Jefferson High School. She went to Fortis College in Alabama and was a member of the National Honors Society. On February 27, 1999, Stacey married William “Bill” Boston in Lisbon, Iowa. A lover of roses and petunias, she was stubborn as hell and loved to give Bill a hard time. Her favorite hobby was the time she spent with her grandchildren. Stacey enjoyed reading scripture and shopping for purses, especially her Louis Vuitton’s. She always assisted people in need with food, money or clothes. Stacey will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Boston; children, Alexa (Michael) Fitzgerald, Brock (Tina) Michal, Michael (Casey) Wheeler, Annie Nekola, Will (Traci) Boston, and Heather (Brian) Nekola; grandchildren, Layten, Lennox, Kaidence, Blakely, Ella, Sutten, Sage, Bryde, Abigail, Macey, Candance, Kari, Drew, Perah, Ellie, Javen, and Isabelle; sister, Michelle (Rob) Miller; sisters-in-law, Barb Boston, Diane (Gary) Novak, Stacy Boston, Marietta (Brian) Sippy, Teresa (Pat) McDonald; and brothers-in-law, Ben Boston and Merritt Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Beverly Chiafos; sisters-in-law, Maureen Boots and Elizabeth Robertson, and brothers-in-law, Rick Boots, Daniel Boston, and Francis Boston.
