Darla Michalec of Fairfax and Ken Paxton of Jefferson are happy to announce their engagement.
Darla has four children: Benji Michalec and wife, Stacy, of Cedar Rapids, Mindy Young and husband, Cole, of Elizabethtown, NC, Jesse Michalec, and Heidi Michalec of Fairfax. She also has two granddaughters, Lexi and Lacy Young. Ken has two children: Shannon Hannasch and husband, Chris, of Holt, MI, and Kyle Paxton and wife, Emily, of Ankeny.
They plan an October 23, 2010, wedding.
