Charlotte Darlene (Shaver) Kepros, 85, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Charlotte was known as “Penny” to many, a nickname given to her by an adoring older brother.
She attended Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Charlotte loved gathering her family around her for holiday meals. She instilled a delight in nature and a love of gardening and cooking in her children which has been passed on to her grandchildren. She had a quick and curious mind that kept current with world events and loved sharing ideas and knowledge with her grandchildren. She loved following their achievements, interests and travels and was much loved by them.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Peter, and their children Steve, Brooke, Kevin, Nathan, Ted, and their growing families.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her son Christopher.
