Sheriff’s Office: Linn County man injured in crash has died

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Linn County man who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash Saturday has died, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
Albert Stuppi, 61, of rural Springville, was driving a Nissan Pathfinder just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday when he crashed on Springville Road south of Bolton Manor Road.
A sheriff’s news release doesn’t state how the crash happened, but does say that when first responders arrived. the Nissan was on its top in the west ditch. Stuppi was taken to University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City by Lifeguard Air Ambulance.
On Tuesday, he died from the injuries sustained in the crash, according to the release.
